Augusta Chapter, EGA, Inc.

Augusta Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. Founded in 1981, with about 46 members, Augusta Chapter is a busy one with at least one or two activities every month, including lunches, stitch-ins, workshops, classes, and outreach work.

Our purpose is to encourage all textile arts, especially those using a needle with an eye. We promote the study of history, art and all subjects related to textile arts and embroidery.

An annual fund raiser generates enough income to subsidize program supplies, visiting teachers, and the group fee for correspondence courses.
